Yellowstoan was put in a pasture when he was very young and virtually forgotten until I found and bought him when he was five. He was not broke and totally untrained. This video was shot after he had about 4 months under saddle. He is so talented and great to work with ! His siblings include regional and national champions... Sweet Smokin Whizard (Wendell) is our three year old reiner in training with Josette Conti. Wendell was started in Stacy Westfall's barn by reining trainer Scott McFarland. What a cute cute horse ! This boy is going to be amazing ! This video was shot after only 6 weeks with Josette. Josette feels he's going to be HUGELY competitive as a Derby Horse. Wendell scored a 67 1/2 this fall in his first and only show! Lena is my 12 year old mare I’ve been showing for around 4 years now. I’ve decided to retire her and let her move on to the next phase of her career. She’s an awesome mare and broke to the max. I owe her a huge debt of gratitude! She’s the horse that taught me how to rein. Anyone can ride her no matter their age or experience level. She will make a great 4H horse for a kid just getting started. She is a huge confidence builder given she’s been hauled to tons of shows and is solid as a rock. Lena had a beautiful filly out of Reminic NDunit that we just got in training with Josette Conti. She would make a great broodmare too ! This mare was posted in Quarter Horse News "Magic Cross" list (Dec 2006 issue) for Reminic crossed on Colonel Freckles daughters. She was the only Mare. She is a finished Reiner who has had 2 babies for us. The first was a colt by Dun it with a Twist. He is coming three this year and is showing great promise. The second is a 2009 filly by Walla Walla Whiz. Both are NRBC enrolled. The Filly is in the Futurity program. This mare is very “cowy” and would be excellent for cutting and cow work as well. She has been under lights since November... and is ready to breed. This mare is the perfect “project” horse. She Walks , Trots , Lopes. Leads, bathes , clips. She is a really nice mare. Great ground manners , loves affection.
